By personally committing to the renovation program each member agrees to honor his or her commitment to God and His program. Your support of renovation projects and on-going building improvements is essential. Your prayers and financial gifts are an integral part of our success.
Each member is asked to set a realistic goal and execute his or her plan as soon as possible. Members are asked to consider at least a $1,000 gift annually. Funds for the renovation program are deposited and invested in a secure manner until they are needed to pay for renovation projects.
The funds raised will not only be used to fund the renovations, but will also minimize the amount of money to be borrowed. It is also possible to reduce the interest rate on borrowed funds, and as stated earlier, earn interest, which could further reduce the amount that may need to be repaid.
The funds raised and the manner in which they are raised will demonstrate the strength of the First Baptist family and our commitment to the program.
- When more money is pledged and received, less money will need to be borrowed.
- The more money that is raised, the lower interest rates if money is borrowed.
- The more money that is raised, the more we demonstrate the faith and strength of our church family.
