1. Brother AB asks for divine intervention of getting another door of employment (relocation) as soon as possible.

2. Eben, a recent engineering graduate, needs divine guidance and success in finding the right graduate school as well as job.

3.Habo is writing her SAT and ACT exams in June, 2012, she asks for divine success as well as scholarship.

4.Mr. BA asks for divine help in paying off his house mortgage debt soon.

Jordan Plaza 2011 Christmas Dinner

December 10th

Every year thirty to sixty residents of the Jordan Plaza Retirement complex come out for Christmas dinner. Rev. Smith, Assistant to the Pastor and the liaison for the Plaza, shares several additional blessings the residents receive. “We provide grab baskets, the youth ministry sings Christmas Carols, sometimes there is a special guest musician to perform, and then Pastor or a clergy provides a Christmas message.”

This year the dinner will be held on Dec. 10th at 1:00pm in Stalnaker Hall. Volunteers are always welcome; there is no sign up required. If you have any additional questions, please contact Rev. Henry Smith.

Christmas Play, “A Christmas Blessing”

As we prepare for the Christmas holiday, the FBCNT Drama Ministry is preparing a unique twist to the story of Christmas.

“This year’s story is about how God continuously blesses all of us. It reminds us to cherish the relationships with our friends and family,” says Shay Brown, the Drama Ministry Leader, who wrote and will direct this year’s play.

You can catch this play on Dec 18th during our Sunday Morning worship service at 11am.

Christmas Musical 2011

Make plans to attend the First Baptist Christmas musical on Dec. 14th at 4pm. Expect to hear some of your favorite Christmas Carols from all of our choirs, including a special version of the Hallelujah Chorus.

Special selections will come from: Rev., Dr. James Norwood, The Bell Choir, Praise Dances from Generation of One, KOTK’s new music director, Uriah Owens (the piano student of Sis. Naomi Wimberly); and Kennedy Jackson.

About 22 months ago, my truck was stolen and I have been on disability so I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to replace it.In June,I started working for a guy in Texas and I thought the old guy was going to give me my money all at once like he promised.I decided that it was time to get paid and that millionaire decided that he wasn’t going to pay me.I can’t afford an attorney and this guy is trying to pin things on me because I won’t work for someone who won’t pay.He called me a slave and so did his daughter.I need that money and I don’t know what to do.I hope that’s not the way ALL rich people are.
